He signed with a school out of state, wants to play in the SEC, and had UT in his top 3.

I think the numbers situation is breaking down to be Tuttle and Martin then the best available prospect to fill that last spot regardless of position. They will address the OT spot as well and possibly upgrade a spot or two but natural attrition will take care of the numbers there.

Highly unlikely as I just think Baker is a longshot. Would love to have him though.

As far as Sapp goes a former Vol who is very connected to the coaches at his school said months ago that his family wanted him at TN but he wasn't that high on TN and wanted "better offers". My guess is he doesn't get the offers he wants and may very well wait too long and lose his chance to be a Vol as well.

Fine by me! If he doesn't want to be here, then go somewhere else. We are not a second rate program.

What is this about a potential change of heart? Not that I'm getting excited, but I wonder if there is anything positive here for us? I imagine Ohio state would be a better guess?

Positive is even if we don't get him UF could be losing a great LB prospect.

The big news is that Baker is coming on an unofficial when he's already stated that he's planning on taking an OV to Tennessee as well, so he'll be back again. Hopefully, they make a real push for Baker since Sapp seems kinda wishy washy.

He's due. Guy makes plays every single game, even last year on ST. I really think he'll be the best LB we have had in a long time by the time he leaves.

Would love to steal Baker.

Yep. I actually thought he had a better game than AJ. Not very often do you see Todd Gurley go down behind the LOS via a shoestring tackle.

JRM did a great job on Gurley imo. He got him in the backfield more often than any player I can remember.
