What did his dad say and to who?
Fresh off catching the game winning touchdown to win the state championship in Division-VI in Ohio, Minster tight end Eli Wolf has decided to decommit from Eastern Michigan.
Wolf, 6-foot-4, 205-pounds, is the younger brother of current Tennessee freshman tight end Ethan Wolf.
"Eli has decided to back away from his commitment to Eastern Michigan," the players father, James Wolf, said. "Tennessee has offered him a preferred walk-on opportunity, and I'm 99% sure that's going to happen."
"He is coming off a great season, and has other schools showing attention right now," the elder Wolf added. "I think the chance to play with his older brother is going to be hard to pass up, but we have to see how things go."
This past season, Eli Wolf caught 74 passes for 1,350 yards. He also scored 18 touchdowns. He was a first-team All-Ohio selection.
