Not sure what the guy's name is, but I think Butch recruited him. The TE from Cincy who was drafted in the later rounds last yr was kinda on the smaller side not much for in-line blocking, he was maybe pushing a buck 40 but he was really fast for a 140lb white te. Maybe we could hope for a similar role.

edit: my bad his name was blake annen from the 09 so butch didnt recruit him but he did help develop him. he was not drafted but the bears signed him

So Helm, Henderson and Scott are gone, Hendrix looking like he's leaving, Payne apparently in question, Payne dismissed (but perhaps being reinstated) and Malone and Sawyers dealing with some things our 2014 class has taken some hits. 3 4 stars (2 in the top 250) already gone. Hard to build solid depth with defections of top talent.

Henderson and Paulk was outta Butchs hands.

So in reality, he's only lost Scott.

I think we should hire Orgeron back on a consultant basis, get him drunk on Jack Daniels mixed with Red Bull, send him into prospective recruits houses and cuss like a mother****er, and secretly film their reactions. Butch will be outside in a van monitoring their reactions along with the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld. If the recruit and/or their family acts like a bunch of wimpy-ass ******* around Orgeron, then send the Soup Nazi in and say, "Can't handle cussing? No scholarship for you".

Watching this 30 for 30 on the U part 2 you see the colorful language in action but it got me pumped up man! It's dirty but you are a football player and if you don't possess a mentality of wanting to demoralize your opponent you don't have any business being on that field. That adrenaline rolls and the exepletives fly. Part of it for some guys, Can't get your feelings hurt. And I'm a Christian.

It's why you always recruit at a high level to make up for it. Also we had to sell playing time to kids but in the next year or so the pith will change to come be part of the championships and let us develop you like we did hurd, Barnett etc so then less of these will happen. Helm, Hendrix and Scott were highly rated kids who each have an absolute STAR in front of them in Wolf, Barnett and Hurd/Kamara.

Paulk may be back which is big for RB depth just sucks he missed a whole yr of development. Henderson is a tough loss thanks to NCAA; staff loved his motor and attitude

I remember him calling his big bro out on Twitter about who has the better hands. Maybe the friendly competition will drive him to be a player but I hardly see him as a guy that would be offered a scholarship.

Would be great as a preferred walk-on but I do think he is way underrated. He's actually faster than his brother with better hands, if he can put on the necessary weight I could see this as a kid who ends up being the steal of the class if in fact offered, he'll earn a scholarship either way.

I'm sure there is more to the story than him leaving over just some cussing. At least I would hope so. A lot of us are Christian are on here and could handle cussing in certain settings (sports, military, even from a boss). Now if CBJ was cussing like a sailor in front of his momma or fiancé that's one thing, but I doubt CBJ would do that.
