Pruitt saw him first hand last year. If he decides not go out and try to grab, I trust him a lot more than the posters on here. Also, it is a dumb conversation to have. Kelly Bryant will have plenty of options to go to where he can actually compete for something.

Brandon Doughty at WKU led the entire NCAA in TDs two years in a row under Tyson
Sam Darnold was the 3rd pick in the NFL draft under Tyson
JG has had his career resurrected under Tyson, at the very least he has been MUCH better this year than under Butch's guys.

He is not perfect in any way but cmon, he is clearly good at developing QBs

None of them are transferring "this" year. Either player wont play until next year....

Thru 4 games this fall we already have more 50 yard pass plays than all of last season.

There isn’t really a difference in his case. He graduates in December, IIRC. So even if he transferred tomorrow, he wouldn’t be eligible until next year.

I don’t have the time to go through this right now, but Helton will get more than his fair share. Kids are gonna want to play here. Very nice, but difficult, NFL-style offense.

I'm not saying that I'm a hundred percent certain that JG is the answer. I do think he's shown some talent. That's all beside the point though, until we get an offensive line that can adequately pass protect it's going to be almost impossible to evaluate any of our QB's

Should CJP reach out he would be eligible to start next year with one more season of eligibility. Living in SC I have seen many games and he is a winner. Curious what Volnation thinks?

I think if you surround JG with Clemson’s talent, JG would be a star that likely doesn’t get benched for a true freshman.

Surround Kelly Bryant with JGs talent, and we’re exploring possible guys who could transfer in and replace him.

Grass isn’t always greener. QB isn’t our issue right now.
