'15 TN ATH Jauan Jennings (UT commit 4/7/14)

Watched his Hudl film. The media guys are right when they say that his passing is a work in progress - much like Nick Marshall, it was serviceable at best. That being said, you can tell that the tools are there, they just need refining. And he is absolutely electric running the read option. Really, the Nick Marshall comparison just pervades the entire tape, if you ask me.

Also - still trying to figure out why in the world they would include a bunch of incomplete passes in his tape. Makes no sense at all haha.

A lot of those passes were on point, just dropped by the receivers.

Marshall was also a JUCO and Jennings is 16. Not saying Jennings will be that good, but something like arm strength isn't exactly an apples to apples comparison right now.

To show you how pathetic their fans are, get this... I was talking to a lady who is a big Vandy fan. She was hurt that Franklin left obviously. But she told me she follows Penn State Recruiting now, she gets recruiting updates on her phone about the Nittany Lions. How pathethic? I told her, "Why are you doing that to yourself?"

I won't root for Pearl over UT, but I will follow what I can of Auburn basketball. Not to the point where I get updates to my phone though :lol: I will try to catch a game or two a year and on a signing day I might check the Barns class out.

Just thought I'd share. I didn't enjoy UT basketball until Bruce even though I watched football at a young age. Without Bruce I still might not care as much.

Is Mason really low energy? Never saw any of his press conferences...that type of program needs Butch or Franklin types with the limitations they sport in attendance and attention span.

He at least appears that way in front of the camera. He may be absolutely nuts on the football field, but it doesn't translate to those on the outside.

Doesn't mean his first shot won't be QB. Just means you label him as a guy that could help you all over. I'm curious to if they would look into possibly part time position while training to be a QB just to use his athleticism with certain packages.

IMO he's exactly what Vandy needs. He seems to be lacking somewhat in recruiting so that is good and if he's not a great motivator that is also good. What I'm saying is that if Candy goes back to their 2-10 and 1-11 seasons it won't bother me at all. Always hated Vandy and always will. Go Vols!

Mostly speculation at this point. Jennings is a QB all the way up until he's seen taking reps at a different position at UT practice. I'd expect that to be a long way off.
