Jennings scored the decisive points on a two-point conversion with 44 seconds remaining after Charlie Davidson's late touchdown.

Potentially illegal

Punishments handed out so it's behind them. Please don't mention what it was on here because Jennings was not mentioned and after all this thread should be about him.

I probably should not have mentioned it. I was just trying to point out that the team played like a team distracted.

Glad they woke up after I left LOL.

I swear every news outlet was gone in the 4th because there is no footage if this comeback.

I didn't mean for it to be critical, I get why you can't talk specifics, but because of that, it's probably best to not even mention it.

I know. I read it this am and thought the exact same thing. I deserve to be called out on that one.

My apologies.

Had to have had well over 350 yards passing. Article just gives 24-39. To go along with 105 rushing he had to have close to 500 total yards. But he's a Safety all the way, because he can't play QB (blue font intended).

But if you have receivers that can't catch the dang ball or consistently run the wrong routes then that makes a MAJOR difference in being able to compare the two!

Have you watched any Blackman games this year? Do you really want to talk about drops? Blackman has dropped a LOT of balls this year....last night being no exception early on apparently.

So good HS stats mean you're gong to be an SEC caliber QB? I hope you're right. I guess Blackmans defense deserves no credit.

No, just a little sarcasm at the people that say he won't play QB because he has never had great throwing stats....even though most weeks he doesn't get to throw it more than 10-15 times usually.

Not sure why Blackman's D got brought up, but they have been really good the first 5 games. They have allowed JJ and most of the starters to only play a half or a little more. Last night they gave up a ton and starters had to play the whole game and JJ had to put the team on his back and sling it. Personally, he will be an SEC caliber QB. Leadership, check.....arm, check.....legs, check....intangibles, check.

I really hope I was wrong about him not being able to play QB at the next level. He would fit in well in our offense if he continues to improve

Greatly improved since the first game. Throws on the run, down the middle, and reading progressions. Eyes always downfield too...helps take advantage of run opportunities.

Also, have to love the intangibles...dare I say he has some Worley in him.

What we all forget is that Blackman is a run-heavy team and they've not needed to air it out until they got way down against Independence this past week. They've led in every game and have a stellar Running Back in Charley Davidson.
