'15 TN ATH Jauan Jennings (UT commit 4/7/14)

Outdated. :)

I got no problem with people saying Rutherford County is a tough district. However it's not one of the toughest in the country.

Also JJ has earned his QB stripes. Dude has the potential to be special. Imagine how good he will be after a RS year :yikes:

Murfreesboro has grown by an unreal number. I just so happened to write a research paper on the growth of the city and it's impact on health.

Here's some numbers. ..

2000 population 72,000
2014 population 118,700

The growth is attributed to multiple corporations moving to the area.

This growth is directly responsible for the increase in Div.1 athletes in this area.

All of middle TN is going to keep trending that direction. If nothing else it'll do wonders for HS football.

Used to be. Smyrna, Riverdale, and Siegel have fallen off a bit.

But yes, agreed.

This kid needs to be a QB. Seems perfect for our offense.

I'm starting to think the same thing. He has the physical ability for sure, and his attitude is unmatched. If he has the time to develop he could be a great QB for us. He is a future leader of this team regardless of what position he plays.

Hopefully he doesn't get rushed into duty at another position and he doesn't get a realistic chance.

Anyone know if Jennings has put on any weight? Would like to get this kid up to about 210 or so.

Hard to put on weight during the season. Will be interesting to see how much he grows this offseason.

^this. The weight just melts off during the season. He looks like he's about 180 right now to me. Very very light but he could swell up like Dobbs no problem in couple years.

Jauan has better stats in 6A ball in Tennessee in one of the hardest districts in the nation than Dormady who plays in 1A ball in Texas. IMO

Someone has most likely corrected you by now, but I'm pretty sure Boerne is a 4A school in Texas, not 1A, which is very detrimental to your argument.
