Is this true?
I haven't read anywhere about the coaches officially pulling Middleton's offer. Just rumors about him transferring and misbehaving like the rumors with Woods. Maybe it happened but I don't recall reading it.
"He and the coaches decided to part ways. Middleton is a great talent who needs to mature and get things together if he hopes to end up playing at Tennessee."

This was posted in the Middleton thread in October. So the word's pulled offer were not used but...

I heard he is just started school this week at clinton. They threw for over 3,000 yards last year and the qb they have is coming back as only a junior. Also got an oak ridge transfer recently too. Should be fun offensive team to watch if he makes the grades. Kids love those spread offenses.
Cut ties and use the spot on another important position. He's not a need or a can't miss kid. He's a dime a dozen player in the South. I would like for us to take a wait and see approach with these little system slot players. They aren't hard to find at all in the Southern states.
Just curious why the staff would offer and accept his commitment so early if he is a dime a dozen player? If he is not a need, and nothing special, why did they take him?
