This kid reminds me of Kenneth Darby from bama a few years ago...He has low top end speed, but is hella shifty and has a terrific dead leg move. I would not be surprised at all to see him get an offer.

I would rather give this kid an offer, then let Jay Woods keep his. I think Bruce has the better upside and may be better off the field.

I think Bruce is a zone read style RB all day though. I don't know that his skillset translates as well to slot. Jmo

Definitely. There's at least 2 RBs ahead of him on the board and multiple CBs. I wonder if Butch, not only tells them that it is not committable, but tells them the reason he wants to make an offer is so they get more exposure. Other schools see that Tennessee has offered, so they take a look at the prospect. It is actually a win-win for the prospect. If things work out and his offer becomes committable, then commit to Tennessee… But if not, then the prospect might have other decent offers to consider. Don't flame me… It is just a thought.

For a kid who has been dreaming of this offer, I hope Butch wouldn't give him an offer that wasn't commitable. I know you're not supposed to say anything about Butch that has a hint of negativity on this board, so I hope you guys don't burn me at the stake. But if he is going to play slot, I would like to take him over Woods. I have seen both of them play and I like Joc more. I also know teachers at Lenoir City (I know Woods is at Clinton now) and South Doyle and Joc's character and attitude is better than Woods.
