It was announced that Shoop is staying and signed a new deal at Penn State. I want to say it was close to a million per year but not exactly sure on that.

Think Chavis is good with some of his recruiting connections? You develop relationships and bail (admittedly for good relationships)...future HS recruits and their coaches may be a little tentative. He could just revert to our old non recruiting Chief again in Texas.

With the way this kids recruitment has been, maybe this is the best thing for him. He goes to a great school and Idk (jmo tifwiw) he gets away from whatever is going on with his situation. We shouldn't rag on him about what jes doing, maybe he doesn't have the best help when it comes to this type of commitment/decision. Some guys get a chance to get away and that ends up being the best thing they could do. Good luck to him
