'15 TN CB Ugo Amadi

Notice he said SEC commits in Tennessee...not Tennessee commits. Big difference.

That's the point I'm making. Oregon isn't after a Tennessee commit. So, he says "after SEC commits" in Tennessee.

He's been known to stir the pot with Tennessee fans and Tennessee fans get on edge with him pretty quickly. I can see a lot of people reading it differently than he meant it. JMO but I believe he worded his tweet cryptically on purpose.

I cant find any TN recruits that hold an Oregon offer that isnt already early enrolled.

Jackson
Richmond
Smith
Perry
Stewart
Bruce
Sheffield
Jefferson
McGraw
McMillon
Vaughn
Ordway
Thomas
Oliver
Givens
Jonathan Johnson
Woods

^ none of them hold Oregon offers according to their profiles on 247
Some recruits stop reporting offers once they committ. Only the attention getters try to covet as many offers as they can. So just because a rivals or 247 doesn't report it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Breaking: #Rivals250 DB Ugo Amadi has flipped from LSU to Oregon. He talks decision here: http://bit.ly/1xXjgPe

lol. After all those A&M Crystal Balls today, this definitely came from left field. Good luck to him at least he's going out of the SEC.

"I knew in my mind it was the school I wanted to go as soon as they showed interest," Amadi said. "It really came from nowhere, I got the follow on twitter and we started communicating. I told them I was interested, and once they saw my film they said I was perfect for my scheme and I decided to commit." - Rivals

Lol Sounds like his LSU comments except without honey badger and dream school included. I wonder if LSU said to kick rocks

Ugo committing to Oregon doesn't really concern me. Oregon getting a foothold in Tennessee scares me. Phil Knight pumps a lot of money into that program. They have new uniforms every game. All of that swag turns heads, like it or not. We don't really need more competition for in-state recruits. It may not mean much this year, but it could effect future years.

My concern also. Keep their beaks out of our back yard

Not saying that he isn't getting it, but it seems that he needs some guidance and advice going through the process. He is swayed way too easily by coaches feeding his ego and telling him what he wants to hear. I'm not saying that Oregon isn't a great landing spot for him either, but at least take a visit first and make sure you like it. After all, you will be spending the next 4-5 years all the way across the country. Hands down, the weirdest recruitment that I've followed...and there's still 26 days until NSD.

There's too much distance between Tennessee and Oregon to worry about that. Most parents can't afford to fly to Oregon on Saturday from here to watch their kid play. Don't see them as a recruiting threat at all.
