That's how I see it too.

I read what POA said. Which he does have a great point. Matthews hasn't been spot on lately.

I think POA's list of the current commits who are not looking to EE as of now does not mean they have grade concerns. Remember that UT can only take so many EE's. All 20,22, or 24 commitments can't EE no mater what their grades are.

Only one on the current commit list who has been mentioned with grade issues was Woods unless I've missed it.


What has Matthews missed on lately?

Brazil, Martin, Cole, Reynolds, Butler, Miller, and maybe a couple others still in play.

Also have to at least consider that Woods(if he is part of the class) and or Bruce could possibly play CB.

LV, I don't think it does either. I think POA Just made Matthews look like a doofus.

I personally believe that Butch doesn't leak much information. Jmo of course.
& I'll post about Matthews when I get home.

I think Stanley Norman still be in play add a CB option. I also think when most everyone commits, we will put a lot of our recruiting focus on Mook Reynolds

Remember guys that this time last year we had never even heard of Moseley, Pearson, or Johnson yet. Still lots of time for this staff to uncover some studs.

Im a little confused as to whats going on here. I read that Matthews said there are a few (2-3 or so) that have grade concerns. All I did was post like 7 or 8 guys who arent planning to EE, just to narrow down the list of guys he could be talking about.

Ordway's offer list dwarfs Mook's and Micha's combined. You would think the hip flexibility and/or academics would be a concern for more teams. He may not be a take for some others at this point either, I don't know, but some of the best staffs in the country thought enough of him to offer. Can't say the same for Mook.

On another note, without Cam I think we have a harder time of flipping Rico.

Ordway's & Abernathy's offer lists seem similar to me....and both are good.

I'm not sure if TN is heavily recruiting this kid, or if they would even accept his commitment or not. He is going to make his choice in August though. 247 is showing a 88% chance he commits to us. He has a nice, impressive offer list.

John Brice was on 104.5 the Zone this afternoon and said that we're in the thick of it for Ordway.

The question came up to where things stand with Gibson and he said that KM and Gibson were real close and that could be factor. Then also said Gibson is tight with Ordway a high profile DB that Tennessee is heavily recruiting. Seems as though he may still be pretty high on the board.
