I spoke with one of the coaches Tuesday night and he said the staff felt really good about our chances with Phillips. I know this is different than what the VQ guys are saying so TIFWIW. I also realize that kids tell the coaches what they want to hear sometimes but he seemed confident.

He IS committed to Ole Miss. The fact that he told Farrell that this morning means absolutely nothing.

The VQ guys reiterated today that UT still has momentum, and all sources seem to indicate that he likely "committed" to UT over the weekend (but keep in mind commitments mean nothing until an LOI is signed).

A public decommitment from Ole Miss, no matter how well his visit at UT went, was never going to happen. It was already known that his commitment status won't change until he sends in his LOI on Wednesday.

Is that clear enough for you?
