Van has spoken to Rocker and Pruitt and is trying to schedule a OV. I'm definitely trying to push him to come on home. He visited Louisville today.

I loved Pruitt before he was ever at UT. Really good coach with really good ppl skills & know what it takes to win and recruit. Also is not going to run away from pursuing a kid because a big time school is after them. He will run a tight ship that runs smoothly and guys will love it. He has an electric personality and kids love him. Kids relate to him similarly to how they did Lane.

Austin and I (a little bit) have been working this Van Jefferson rumor today. Jefferson does appear to be leaving Ole Miss and in talking to some close to Van there is/will be some interest in Tennessee.

One thing to remember is that Jefferson at one time was committed to UGA when Pruitt and Rocker were there.

Not sure if anything will develop there at all, but it's not something we are dismissing after phone calls today.

I’m cautiously (very cautiously) optimistic, but I do think Rocker in particular is huge here. There will be a comfort level there for the whole family. It can’t hurt that he will see our depth chart as a lot less crowded than the one he’s leaving.

It does but in light of Ole Miss being.... Miss they are waiving all transfers from there....

It does, but you can obtain a waiver. Patterson is doing so to attend Michigan.

He’s about a 500 yard per year WR. So about like Jennings in 2016.

He’s also had to play behind AJ Brown and Demarcus lodge who are two of the better receivers in the SEC. brown will probably be a 1st rounder next year

No he's not better than Callaway right now imo. But he would be a very good number 2. Could grow into a star though.

Van’s baby momma used to work at my sons daycare (in Franklin). No inside knowledge but he may be wanting to be closer. His parents are supposed to be very involved in raising the child.

91 catches for 1,000 yards and 4 tds the last 2 seasons being the 3rd or so option. The kid is really good imo.
