Yeah that is what they were saying on here a month ago to try and get excited for him. It didn't work.
I think he did as well at Mississippi State as is humanly possible.
Whether that means he excels at Florida or not, I don't know.
But, it's been beaten to death already. It's the worst program in the West by far. Most Gator fans thought he was dumb to take the job and should have waited for a job where he had a chance. It's what Bob Stoops did. He had offers while at Florida, but waited for an Oklahoma to come around. We all wondered why Mullen didn't do the same.
Mullen's time at Mississippi State can only be described as a success.
Again, whether he succeeds at Florida or not, who knows.

Yes that is all true. Does he get you excited though? Can he win you a national championship? Are you being honest with yourself?
Excited? Hell yes. Hes about as proven as they come in developing quarterbacks which was an absolute must for this hire. His offense won us 2 National championships not to mention while at MSU he hired guys like Todd Grantham. Manny Diaz, and Geoff Collins as defensive coordinators which were all very good hires so he knows how to hire good DCs to handle that side of the ball. He has 9 years exp coaching in the sec which is pretty great also esp after the last 2 guys we had who had little to no hc experience
Can he win a National Championship? Who knows obviously wouldnt say yes but lets give him a few years to see how things go I dont think its completely out of the question he was offensive coordinator from 05-08 and had a big hand in winning 2 of them at UF already so he knows what it takes
Its Also nice he has good relationship with the AD
Wyoming, Montana, and Minnesota are three of the most beautiful states in America if you are an outdoor enthusiast. California has the best weather, and is the most physically/geologically diverse state in the country.
But, to each their own.
