'15 TN WR Van Jefferson

His Dad is coaching at Miami. Family is helping raise his child. I suspected it’d be one of the Florida schools. Not sure why anyone thought there was any indication he’d want to be a Vol.

I'm not sure where your info is coming from but I'm like extended family and eat with the family and helped Van train in HS. His dad called me when trhey were getting out of Ole Miss. His kid is here in TN, and UT was one of his 1st choices, but they failed to get him in for an official. Fla, and Louisville did. Ala, tOSU, PSU, and a few others called to inquire but he wanted it over asap thus why he chose UF.

Sounds like I had bad info, sorry VN. Carry on.

Emory Jones is not Fromm. Look forward to playing him.

He was an elite 11 finalist with a big arm plus Mullen has turned his last 2 quarterbacks at miss st into some of the best in SEC and they were guys nobody wanted like this. As you can see from offer list literally NOBODY

Nick Fitzgerald, Richmond Hill, Dual-Threat Quarterback

Emory Jones would be highest rated QB he’s had to work with since probably his days with Urban

Hard to imagine but UFs quarterback problems could be over soon. Not saying they’ll be great but should be a lot better then the garbage Mac trotted out there the last 2 years

Mullen is 33-39 against the SEC.

Honestly do you really see a few games below .500 as bad when your in the SEC West and at the worst program in the division esp when he had to build it up the first few years

I’d say the last 4 or 5 years he had some of Miss st best teams ever and next years will be one of them too thanks to Mullen

For them blowing out LSU on homecoming and coming within seconds from beating bama is like winning the sec because they know they never will

The fact that he could compete with bama like that with the huge disparity in talent takes some damn good coaching

We’ll see how the new guy does Mullen left him a pretty great team at best he maintains at worst they go back to being the Miss st that some of you guys don’t seem to remember. The Miss st that wins around 10-12 sec games in 9 years instead of 33

ND, SD, Wyoming, nebraska, kansas, Indiana, Minnesota, Montana, California, new Mexico, just off the top of my head are all worse than alabama and Florida

Wyoming, Montana, and Minnesota are three of the most beautiful states in America if you are an outdoor enthusiast. California has the best weather, and is the most physically/geologically diverse state in the country.

But, to each their own.

I’ve spent a lot of time in Montana and Wyoming. Very special places.

Wyoming, Montana and New Mexico are head and shoulders above Florida and Alabama. But I love the west so I'm partial to those states. Florida can sink into the ocean.

He didn’t get to face Tennessee every year while at Mississippi State.

Add Kentucky and Vandy to the mix and there are more cupcakes to bolster his overall SEC record

He didn’t play Tennessee every year (har har har), but he did play Kentucky every year. The more you know...
