On the Vandy Board, I also saw this

Halfway through a small class and right now our average player rating is higher than that of UT. With Smith and Sheffield, 2 of 7 commits are rated 4* and 5 are 3*. UT has 18 HS commits (one JUCO)- one 5, two 4*.

When the final rankings come in, just remember that our ranking will be lower because of quantity of scholarships available, not quality of player signed. At the same time UT will have an inflated ranking because they will sign a million guys, but at the end of the day both of us will have to play with 85.

Ive checked the all the sites, and this is just false on all of them. Also don't all the recruiting sites only take the top 20 into account in the rankings? So is all this just kinda BS?

Edit: Checked the date, and it was before Mckenzie yesterday. Still alot of misleading info

Disregard that all recent crystal ball predictions have been in our favor (within the last few days/weeks).

they are going to be even more butthurt when we get Van Jefferson, Kyle Phillips, Quarte Sapp and whoever else we feel like getting.

I don't get how people still think signing more players helps class ranking. Top 20 is all that matters. If you have less than 20,you can use average stars for comparison, but signing 30+ doesn't improve your rank at all.

I doubt it. Their "fans" are so disconnected to football that I truly believe that they dont think there is a difference between our recruiting and theirs.
