Out of how many years? How are people so forgetful of history? If someone beats you 20+ times in a row, then you win 2 in a row, you don't get to talk crap.

exactly. and im not sure last yr was a "whipping"

this has been the pinnacle for them. they dont know how to act. This year wont be kind to them either.

Yeah, I know Rivals only uses the top 20 kids in a class. I'm not sure if all the other services do as well or not.

Last year we lost by the skin of our teeth. The year before that they beat Dooley on the way out. So their best claim to fame is beating UT in some of the worst years in the history of our program. :thumbsup:

Our overall average is a little low on Rivals because of Lovingood's 2* and Dormady being a 2* because of not being evaluated yet. Fully expect McKenzie to be a 5* on Rivals, Dormady should be a 4* when all is said and done and others with potential jumps plus some more additions and some subtractions. Willing to bet our average is higher than VU's and higher than the 3.3 we currently have. Especially if Dormady ends up a 4,McKenzie a 5,Kamara a 5,Picou a 4,and guys like Griffin, Oliver and Jackson who are also at 5.7 right now. Kamara and McKenzie are both 6.0 so are. 1 away from 5* on Rivals, got 4to guys at 5.7 that are. 1 away from a 4*, Dormady not evaluated yet. Williams is a 5* on 247 so he isnt far either. Even guys like Reid and Hall are 4* elsewhere so on Rivals there is lots of potential for guys to jump throughout the yr.

It's better than losing...did we as Vol fans talk smack to Florida and BAMA during the Zook and Shula years? YES!! now I do agree that the "our state" bs is a little overboard...up until Franklin Vandy was just behind Memphis and MTSU in football

Good luck getting them to believe that. They also got UF when they were miserable and UGA after UT inflicted several key injuries just the week before.

I remember many on here saying the say thing when we had Dooley recruiting. 1 commit in July and we though we was OK. Glad Jones showed up.

I very well remember the game we lost to them down there in 1982. I had to listen to some Vandy fans I know in the Nashville area for about 15 years screaming and cheering about their big win and how Whit Taylor (their QB) owned us. Even though we beat them every year after that they still were talking about Whit Taylor. Another reason why I hate Vandy so much! Vol fans need to understand that even if we start a 25+ game win streak on them this year that we'll have to listen to crap from their handful of fans bragging and screaming about beating us two years in a row back in 2012 & 2013.
