'15 TN WR Van Jefferson

I bet he takes another 24hr trip and comes back home Sat night and announces after the trip.

If he announces at all on the 26th.

Just came in to see if westside was in fact "still not providing us with anymore information".

Top247 rising senior wide receiverVan Jefferson*of Ravenwood High School in Brentwood, Tenn., is not planning to announce his college decision Saturday, Ravenwood coach*Will Hester*said Wednesday night.

The 6-foot-2.5, 172-pound Jefferson has discussed perhaps making his choice in time to announce his commitment on his birthday, July 26. But Hester said Jefferson currently has no set timetable for a decision, although he's still hoping to make up his mind before the start of his upcoming season. He still hasn't scheduled the pup visit per Coach Hester.

New article on 247 says Van will not announce on his birthday as was planned. He will still try and make his decision before the start of his season. Callahan thought it helped UT, so he could come down off the high of his recent OSU visit. He said it might not help, but if he would have gone on and announced momentum was on OSU side. Also, he was going to visit Georgia before he decided, but the article said nothing was planned as of now.

Something to consider with his recruitment is that dad opens training camp with the Titans on Friday and will probably be less likely to make recruiting trips after camp opens. It might not make a huge difference, but if he can't experience other schools like he did TN then it can't hurt IMO.

So ready for a BOOM here. Can't see him passing up the opportunity to play with the best receivers in the country at UT.

Van and his family don't seem like the type to go off an emotional high from a visit. He could always pick OSU, but looking at the big picture I just don't see him being anything but a VOL.
