I keep trying very hard to temper my expectations, but it is pretty freakin' hard to keep them tempered with Butch at the helm. GBO

The latest CB was Ryan Callahan on 7/7/14. All but one of Tennessee's CBs make up the most recent predictions; however, no predictions have been added since his visit to OSU. I have faith, but I think a lot of people are waiting and seeing right now.

Considering what Callahan just posted, I would think he would've flipped his CB to tOSU if he wasn't confident that Van will be a Vol.

Callahan is still batting 1.000 on his Tennessee Crystal Balls going back to last year's class fwiw.

Edit- Actually, I just noticed that he missed on DJ Jones a couple of weeks ago. His batting avg dipped to a cool .987

Missed on Austin Clark as well. People brag about his crystal ball predictions but he usually waits till the very last second to put his prediction in. He also switches at the very last second if he thinks he is wrong, it's really not that impressive

None of them are. It's an awesome tool for us as fans, but having accuracy rankings of reports or whatever 247 does is silly.

They should make it where you can only change your prediction once and it has to be at least a week before the announcement. All it is now is people just putting in their predictions just for the heck of it. It should mean a lot if someone puts in a prediction.

Exactly.
These guys have contacts, and I'm not saying they don't do their due diligence... I'm sure that's case-by-case depending on how hard the reporters work with their sources.

We obviously all appreciate the CBs, and it's a super-creative tool from 247, but a few people with really good info start the snowball effect a couple days before the announcement.

I HATE YOU... I thought VN was the one place I could escape Frozen hell, my little girls think this is the only movie we own... I have finally gotten them to mix it up with Toy story and UP, but they always come back Frozen...
