'15 TN WR Van Jefferson

Meh. I think taking Preston Williams out of their state makes it even. 1 5 star for 1 4 star and ill take that any days :)

Yeah we already stole a straight boss out of Georgia. He should be the number 1 WR on all services. Kid just makes play after play

If he commits to UGA today it’s still not over. We won’t stop recruiting him, the love UT fans show him compared to UGA fans will probably be a tough pill to swallow. If you read UGA boards they really don’t know much about Van and really aren’t excited, stating “ we are stacked at WR and he probably won’t see the field”. I still think he ends up a VOL on NSD.

Are you sure that isn't our board saying we're stacked at WR and could do without him?:ermm:

I'd literally take pw over any other receiver in the country. Not only based on talent but also because he wants to be a vol. People get too hung up on stars. A kids attitude has a lot to do with what he will ultimately become...

But you gotta have that talent too. Lots of East Tennessee kids would LOVE to play for UT. If had a team full of them, we would be 0-12.

Last sentence is 1000% true.

People keep saying we're stacked at WR, but we only have one WR commit for 2015 and two for the class of 2014. Am I missing something? UGA already has three WR commits for 2015 alone.

Since VJ has been so quiet lately I'm wondering if the uga noise is nothing more than to build drama for his announcement. We all know how some of these kids like to build suspense leading up to commitment. Esp after pretty much everything over last month or so has pointed to him being VFL. If this is the case, I wouldn't be surprised if CBJ had a lil something to do with it to maximize boomage if he picks WRU.

Also, didn't VJ use the hashtag #40YearPlan (or something similar) in a recent tweet? If so, that just makes me think of a video I saw where Butch was saying when you commit to UT it's a lifetime commitment.

Idk. Just seems weird uga has emerged as leader all the sudden. Just a thought. Trying to stay optimistic….we'll see.

Georgia needed to take 3-4. Their receiver core has been garbage since AJ left, while it's the position we've recruited best the last three years. We may only take PWilly this year, but I'm sure we will take 2-3 next year. And with Kendall already committed we shouldn't have trouble finding quality WRs around him.
