We may not be pushing to hard for him because of the numbers. Dont get me wrong I would have loved to have him in orange (and it's not.over until he puts his Herbie Hancock on the line) but we need more help at LB, maybe 1\2 DBs, and DLine. Plus, a spot for Drew?

Hmmm...I guess he felt more comfortable trying to compete with the 4 4* receivers GA has a verbal with then all the 5* receivers we have on the team. Not to mention Mr. Williams :)

Not a knock against the kid but shows he doesn't want to compete or wait his turn in a program. He wants to play right a way but will that be the best. Idk. Good luck no matter what but we will show no mercy when he plays us. #CrackSkulls

Barton is the recruiting equivalent of Jimmy Hyams....throws crap at the wall hoping to be right most of the time. We very well could have been 3rd, but wouldn't believe it coming from him.

Although the crystal balls were pretty much a dead giveaway, another hint at this not going UT's way, besides the fact that Georgia was the only flat bill hat that didn't have the tag hanging from it, was that UT released the game 1 depth charts about 2 minutes before Jefferson announced.

Gotta fill spots of need and WR isnt a true need with the few spots left.

Also with the spots we have left I would not trade Jefferson for any of Sapp, Richmond, Suttle, Martin/Abernathy.

I don't think we told him no thanks. I think we would have been happy to have him but I also think we saw him as just a little more of a luxury than an absolute need at this point which goes along with your second point.
