Naa, and Baylor has no glory period. Tennessee will be great again soon. It has only been 6 years. Hell bama was down for 8 plus years until 2008. The elite schools always return to glory. That's the top 2 teams all time in the SEC. Baylor will never be great!

Baylor was great...once. Ask Johnny Majors, he'll tell ya. Our back up QB beat him in the Sugar Bowl. Scoreboard: Baylor 01, Tenn 00.

TN has the longer history or WRU and is regaining it back but Baylor recent run of production is very impressive to me. Josh Gordon, Kendal Wright, Terrance Williams and their guy last year have put up 5 straight all American seasons and its translating extremely well to the NFL game

Uhhh, who said the Vols won't be great again? Not me. All I'm saying is you pump your chest out on history. Sure we can and should learn from it, that's why Baylor is pumping millions into the arms race now, we've learned.

With that being said, we live in the here and now. The here and now is this:

2013 Season:

Baylor>OU>Bama>UT

Hell, we got our butts kicked by UCF in the Fiesta Bowl. There's hope for everyone. This is a QB thread and I won't make you look it up, I'm on record here as saying that if Jarrett doesn't come to Baylor I want him in Knoxville.

Our pipeline is loaded at QB now with two more coming in 2015.

Wholeheartedly disagree... Baylor was smart enough to hire a damn good coach who was a proven winner. Leach recognized his talent and brought him up from Stephensville. He's an innovative coach. They've kicked some ass the last few years, produced a heisman trophy winner, and arose from bottom dwellers of a bcs conference. not James Franklin vandy type winning, but tens of millions of dollars in revenue generating bowl games. He's finally building some depth and getting some four stars... So as much as you'd like to think baylor will always be baylor, you'd be dead wrong again. There was a time when Vandy was the superior team And Tn was a nobody and some fan named Lebanoncommodore probably uttered "Tn will always be, well Tn" Discrediting Briles and the job he's done just because a fan chapped your ass leads me to question whether emotion has clouded your judgement again

Why are we talking about Baylor? They become relevant for brief periods. They will disappear -- again -- in the not too distant future.

Hey, I think you're right cause the Baylor guy says "we gotta live in the here and now". Think Vandy says that too. Wait, I think all the teams with no history of winning and tradition say that though.
