Andrew Butcher also expected UT was about to add a commitment from Sterling Johnson the day he was set to announce. How did that turn out? IMO the recruits know about as much of what is going on recruiting wise as we fans do.
I understand what you're saying but if CBJ backed off the kid then it wouldn't make sense for him to tell one of his recruits to go recruit a guy he is not pursuing?
Supposedly it was recent that CBJ said that to Butcher and I'm not grasping at hope because of stars I think Gibson would fit perfectly here at Tennessee. U always want the best possible playersHow long ago could CBJ have possibly said that to Butcher? Maybe months ago? CBJ and Tennessee is NOT recruiting TG with ANY plans to sign him. I've followed recruiting long enough to see that. The *'s just don't blind me and have me grasping at hope.

Texas offers mean a LOT to these Texas guys. If they offer, I'm fairly confident he flips.
Hope I'm wrong.
Callahan said he hasn't heard anything about a flip. He said when he talked with Quentin a while back that he said he was happy at Tennessee, and he felt it was the place he needed to be. Dormady said he didn't know that a Texas offer would change anything since he really liked UT. I'm just paraphrasing what Callahan said about 10 minutes ago.
I wouldn't. CBJ sold QD on Tennessee. Texas slow played Dormady and he knows it. They took Gentry over him. IMO QD and his dad would stick with Tennessee.
Now IF Dormady were to announce a visit to TX, then I would be worried about losing him. I don't think he would do it even if Gentry bailed on TX.
