'15 TX QB Quinten Dormady (UT Commit 6/9/14)

Don't know what the day is holding....when I get uptight....and I walk right into the path of a lightning volt.

For real?

We opened for him about 4 times in the UK and 6 times here in the states in front of a few thousand per night. Some of the shows in the US included the Variety Playhouse in ATL and The Orange Peel in Asheville.

Good stuff man! Heading to ATL right now.

Somebody needs to let QD talk to Phil Simms. Phil said himself in an interview that if he had it to do over again he would tried to convince Chris to go to Tennessee over Texas.

Really? I hadn't heard that but I'm glad he didn't. I thought Casey Clausen was better anyway.

If you remember Texas hung Chris Sims out to dry for I believe it was Major Applewhite. While during the same year Casey played for the SEC Championship and a chance to go to a National Championship. Later Chris played for the Titans a few years.

Clausen did have ice water in his veins and was a winner but Chris had a better career in the Pro's and more physical talent then Casey I believe.

Casey is second all time to Peyton in passing yds. at UT. I think. So ugh yea, I think he woulda beat out Simms.

Yea he is 2nd. 1000 yds ahead of 3rd. Bad azz.

Didn't say he wouldn't but he also had better players around him then Chris. Phil realizes this now and knows Chris would of had a better opportunity to have been great in college. Possibly better in the Pro's also.

QD just like with Sims would be surrounded by better players to throw the ball to at Tennessee then he will at Texas. Basically learn from other mistakes instead of making your own. The interview I have seen on him seem like he is a stand up guy and will homer his commitment to the big orange vols.

TX has Charlie Strong and Tennessee has Butch Jones and a house full of top receivers (WRU). QD knows all this and he knows that the peanut butter at Tennessee is much better than the armadillo stew at Texas. QD is a Vol and will stay a Vol.

His freshman season he could have as WR's North, Malone, Pearson, Williams and Jefferson with TE's Helm and Wolf and RB Hurd to throw to...Not many teams can compete with that much young talent. I don't see him flipping unless something happens that he has to stay close to home.
