Great question. I'd like to know. I looked him up last year and he was backing up a senior. I imagine he'll be starting this year. Is Duke expected to be as good as last year? Seems like I recall he was doing well academically, and he went on a mission trip.

I'm just messing with you. I have admittedly not watched a single second of his highlights, but he's highly recruited even with limited film out there. And the potential to get better in a good football state in Tejas.

This kid's ceiling is through the roof. Go to his 247 profile. His attributes are that of a high 4* player. Has the arm, accuracy, height and everything else rated high. He will be a consensus 4* guy this year. Would be already if he didn't miss his Jr yr. He will end up higher ranked than Dobbs or Ferguson I believe.

I agree with you. His film is nothing special. He seems to have a good arm and decent footwork. Although I would say RF arm looked to be stronger. I think why some are excited is because they think he is the best pure passer left on our list.

Some on here think that a kids HS film is the ultimate indicator of what kind of player he will be in college. Of course you are going against the popular choice right now so expect criticism.

+1. After that O/W game, he put the whole staff and fanbase on notice. Kid's looking too good and fits CBJ's offense too well (something against Worley) to be denied. Feel a bit sorry for Worley, but that's what competition is for.

He missed his junior season with a shoulder injury. That's why there's not much tape on him. And I wouldn't say he's that highly recruited. Best offers are us and alabubba. I can understand why people are skeptical of this kid.

I want you guys to watch....if Dormady commits to us, he gets no bump in the recruiting services. But should it be Bamer instead, within 24hrs afterwards, he gets' bumped to a 4* by Rivals and Scout ('cept 247).
