'15 TX QB Quinten Dormady (UT Commit 6/9/14)

This is the only thing that butch has done that I disagree with. U should at least wait until kid is off campus at least.

Maybe he is. He follows twitter. He has known for hrs that something was going down. Maybe he asked and they told him the truth. I'd imagine he would be headed home pretty quick after that.

Scrambling in his film

247 has the Dormady's worst "skills" as:

Feet

Reactive Quickness.

I think the kid is obviously a good high school QB but I think there are higher rated dual threat qb's on the board - only time will tell if he can effectively run the system. I hope for the future of the program that he can - but the Vols are likely to get another QB in this class - I hope it is a dual threat guy.

McKenzie and Ordway's reaction has me wondering what's going on.

I think it was just a pretty big whirlwind where butch was having other targets lean all over TG cause Butch wanted to lock TG down TODAY... Then TG didn't fold.

Probably over the line on your part.

North
Malone (off a now-defunct Redshirt's practice film)
Williams (the best WR in the nation, and a better prospect than the two above)

I'm glad to have dormady. And Jennings. But we land top WRs cause we put them in the league.

Get over yourself

Sombodys feewlwings are hurt...:cray:

It is

They need to realize the we can't wait until NSD for a QB

All of the star gazers kill me...would I have liked Torrance Gibson picked TN...YES. But we can't afford to be without a QB. I think Jauan Jennings performed better than the coaches expected...I'm happy with the two signal callers we've got commited. I was worried that we were going to be left at the alter with TG.

A 3rd QB? Nah...

We already have a dual threat guy in this class

I hope it doesn't change their opinions of us :eek:hmy:

I doubt it would. We have seen it before with Andrew Butcher and Sterling Johnson that it's clear the staff does not really keep the recruits/commitments informed as to what they will do as far as taking other kids. Probably for the best IMO as you don't want things to leak good or bad. Andrew seemed sure Johnson was about to commit and be a Vol and it just was not the case.

I think thats the issue - CBJ must have decided it was better to go with Dormandy for sure than TG as a maybe. The consequences of not having a solid QB recruit locked up were too great to hang on to the hope of TG forever.

So a site puts a label on him and that's what he is. Would you say the offense worked better at Cincy under Munchie or Collaros

They have a ton more information that you have shown yourself to have.

And I have shot many of your posts down already with statistics that you have been unable to argue against except for saying that CBJ wants a throw first QB.

FYI I never said he didnt.

Just watched his film again, and I know it has been mentioned but he has a weird/incomplete throwing motion. He seems (to my un-professional eye) to step into the throw but not through it. It doesn't bother me because he can still make all the throws with it, I could easily see him being a better passer once that gets fixed, who knows it might be already and as I said he is a good passer even with the weirdness I saw. this is not a negative post, I was ready to take who ever the coaches took,

Show me that statiatics of passing to throwing in their offense. If running is greater, I'll bow to you

We already have one in Jennings. This guy is better than you think.
