The majority agrees with you...he's #1 on Butch's want list...but with him needing the NSD bells and whistles, he's going to have to learn to play QB somewhere else. :wavey:

IDK I think a lot of teams will take QBs and fill up if he is going to wait. We would still make room for him but he would have to be willing to come into a class with two other potential QBs. Too good an athlete to not at least try him at QB and his athleticism makes him versatile enough to change positions if it doesn't work. I still say UT is the best place for him if he wants to play QB and would make room for him even with a numbers crunch.

Dormady is going to end up being the guy we want to sign as a QB. Gibson does not have the passing skills that we need to fully utilize our passing game. Dormady does.

I agree. I do not see Butch taking 3 QBs this cycle with the numbers issue, or 3 even wanting to come for that matter. So it would not be wise to wait on a guy that already knows he fits at the Barn, IMO. TG should commit or say goodbye to the Vols by this time next week IMO.

If we are still waiting on TG to be our QB in December, then this program is in trouble. He can wait if he wants to be a skill player.

Would love to get Dormady but I have to think he's Bama all the way. I still find it hard to believe they are struggling to land a big-time QB in this class with none signed last year, Ferguson gone, and both returning QB's in 15 being juniors.

I know and the kid from Utah who was elite the year before that. It doesnt seem to affect QB's though whatsoever when making a decision. If it did then TN would have a big-time QB wrapped up already.
