If he makes it in for a visit, especially this weekend, watch out. Gillespie is a big fan and wont let him leave easily.

Whom does the staff prefer, Frasier or Dauphine?

As a whole, Frasier.

But if youre looking for a guy that fits our system, runs like he has a rocket up his backside, and causes the RB coach to light up when talking about him, its Dauphine.

That being said, Frasier is a long shot, and with Dauphine's pending decommittment from TT, he's as legit as it gets to be the third back in this class.

He had 26 carries for 140 yards last friday. Was told if Oregon offers will be were he goes.

From ESPN, I guess they recently redid their rankings...

Sleeper recruit to watch: Keep an eye out on RB Corey Dauphine, who cracked the ESPN 300 at No. 295. Dauphine is committed to Texas Tech and, at 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, is a well-developed back who mixes power, speed and elusiveness. The fact that Dauphine has put up impressive numbers -- nearly 1,200 rushing yards and nine touchdowns -- while sharing the load in the backfield with ESPN Junior 300 back Kameron Martin is beyond astonishing. The big question: Can Texas Tech keep him committed? Baylor, Texas Tech, Arkansas, Florida and TCU are among the schools who have offered.

Y'all ready for a stereotype?

I lived in that area (Beaumont/Golden Triangle as it is called) for 6 years. A couple of things about Port Arthur

1. It is a rough area.
2. That region loves Texas, A&M and LSU.

Fortenberry says Dauphine and Love are the top of the "want" list as far as RB's go.

Obviously we are looking for some speed in the backfield. Keep an eye on Bussey too.
