'15 VA DT Tim Settle

I don't know if anyone really has a preference. The measurables are so similar. They are rated .001 apart (.9872 for Settle and .9862 for Tuttle). Their names are even similar. Maybe they were separated at birth.

Agreed. In the end 2 monsters in the middle is just boomage all day.

Why, all the others above them turned out way more players than coach Z.

He is one of the youngest and Coach Jones has said he is the best WR Coach he has ever known. Haven't heard him say that about the others. Not saying he doesn't feel that way about the others but he was very clear on Azzani.

Hes really the only uncommited DE that I want. DeBerry would be nice too depending on if he stays at LB or moves to Leo.

Sweat is a freak. Going to make a lot of noise where ever he goes.

Deberry I think is a situational de. He will be a great player at the next level

No Kyle Phillips?

Ooohhh.. I forgot him. The fact that he's an instate guy makes him that much more important. However, if we do in fact get Sweat, then I don't know who I'd rather see on the other end between Phillips and Butcher. Plus, I have high hopes for Henderson too. I guess that's a good problem to have though.

I think Elder is younger and he has three TEs currently in the NFL.

I haven't had time to look yet but saw where 5I of the 6youngest at Bowling Green signed pro contracts. Surely someone from Florida and Wisc did but not sure I haven't had time to look it up.

You can never have to many good defensive linemen- LSU

Seriously Leb you would grab Phillips over Sweat?

Phillips is instate. To me, that adds value. I also think Phillips is a lot more likely than Sweat at least at this point. If I only had room to take 1 more DE, I would NOT tell Phillips No today in hopes of getting Sweat down the road. Yes, I know there is the group who says, "they are all takes", I just don't fall into that group.

IMO sweat is a take along with Phillips. You can't turn away talent like this. If sweat decides he wants to be a vol I don't think you can so no. I think you have to tell someone else to look else where.

No way CBJ turns away Sweat for any reason and that includes Phillips.

I agree. I'll be honest I get tired of the in state kid thing. I want ut to win so if that means telling in state kids no every once in awhile I'm ok with that. Now that being said tenn is getting a lot better talent than we used to have and it's very exciting, but if a
Kid is better and he lives some where else and our staff wants him then I say take him. It's about winning and in the sec you gotta have the best to do that.

I like Phillips a lot and yes I like he is an in state talent. However there is absolutely no way I would trade Sweat for any in state player this year. We don't have a Jalen Hurd or Josh Malone type of talent in state this year. Sweat is a monster and quite possibly THE BEST player in the country. No in state player is worth letting him go.

Is the idea still out that there that Kahlil's commitment helps with Settle? I have lost track a bit on this thread.

There isn't a single scenario where sweat wants to come to UT and he is told there is no room. Top 5 players don't get turned down.
