He helped made Eric Fisher over 300 pounds. Lawson had a small part in that whole thing. Jason Kelce made the NFL because of his great technique.

There are so many players with good genetics that don't make the NFL.

So...Anybody wanna talk about Settle in this thread?..Kinda sucks to open a thread hoping maybe news about the player is in and findin' a discussion about "what makes an NFL player"...

Happens more often than not in this forum anymore. Hard to find actual pieces of news between all of the fluff.

Honestly, its a coin flip for me for anyone I have listed 3-5. Theyre all really close. Like I said before, I like all of our position coaches.

Tim Settle woke up this morning. He had breakfast, worked out, had lunch, and went and hung out the movies for a little while. Sources say he had popcorn, coke, and bunch a crunch and will end up home within the next hour or two to eat dinner. He will then play xbox, talk to his girlfriend, then lay down for bed around 11.

It feels like UT is fading here. Obviously, Settle isn't going to make or break this class on his own, but I feel like McKenzie and Settle up the middle is a combination we should be pursuing at all costs.

I'm wondering if we are really pushing for Settle... lots of hearsay about not being able to qualify because of grades...soon after,looks like we really started pushing for Tuttle,then Settle announces Clemson is his leader,just after naming UT his leader... may just be coincidence,but the timeline of all this happening looks like UT cooled on him...if UT did,its not because of talent...

Jones named us his leader within hours of Settle naming Clemson his new leader. They may have nothing to do with each other, but something changed between us and Settles, it appears.

I forgot about DJ Jones in that same time frame... very interesting chain of events for sure and how they all played out in a short time frame...
