Yeah, but K-Mac had about 40-50lbs on Burrell. So, I'm not surprised, and Khalil is strong as a bull, too. Burrell will get up to speed in the S&C program.

Keep an eye out for Tennessee with Virginia offensive lineman Matthew Burrell Jr. as well. I think Florida State has a slight edge over Ohio State, but an official visit to Tennessee could shake up a lot of things and it could be in the works. Penn State is also in the mix, as is Alabama to a lesser extent, but keep an eye out on his next few official visits to see if things change up.

Offensive Tackle Matthew Burrell, Burrell is four star offensive lineman from Woodbridge Virginia. Burrell is emerging as the top remaining offensive line target Tennessee’s board. Burrell is a top 150 prospect in the country. This kid literally could go anywhere he wants to.. Alabama, Ohio State, Penn State, Virginia Tech, you name it… this kid has well over 30 offers. He seems to really like Tennessee. Not sure whether he projects as a tackle or interior lineman . However, he is a talent that you do not turn away. One note he and Tennessee commitment Khalil McKenzie have struck up a nice relationship. McKenzie being here this weekend is no coincidence.

Basilio gets a bad representation on this board a lot of the time, but I'm a big fan of his. His article about the time being right to fire Dooley was one of the best articles any East TN reporter has written in some time. I went with Basilio to the NCAA tournament in Pearl's first year when we lost to Wichita State, I became an instant fan of his when he sat in the student section of George Washington with a huge George Washington hat on when they played Duke. The man is a very funny guy, and he bleeds orange through and through.

I like his stuff too. Although he has become more disenchantedby the recent run of terrible Tennessee teams and disappointments. I guess we all have to some extent. I enjoyed him more when he was unapologetic delusional Tennessee fan radio personality. Trashed talked an dwas always optimistic.

Big mans plane has landed. He needs to know what this UT team will look like for the next few years. He needs to know how the fans will treat him the next few years. If/when they announce the recruits in Neyland, a roar had better erupt for not just Mr Burrell, but for all of our recruits.

There will not be any announcement of recruits. That would be a NCAA violation.
