jones, who has been committed to southern california since april, was planning to announce his final college choice tuesday before postponing the announcement tuesday morning. Oklahoma and tennessee were believed to be the favorites to land him, and all signs pointed toward oklahoma being the choice if he had announced this week. His postponed announcement could give the vols another chance to make a move, but sources have indicated that the sooners are still the team to beat.

I have spent some time in Norman and I agree. Not much there.

Oklahoma city area is a nice place to live...if you don't mind f5 tornados coming through every couple of years. The rest of the state is blech.

Texas is a huge place brother..I love parts of Texas and hate other parts. Texas has several uniquely different areas.

Austin and San Antonio are awesome. Dallas-Fort Worth is great. I love the hill country, and the mountains of SW Texas, and the Coast. I despise West Looeasyyanna...otherwise known as the East Texas-Houston area.

I lived in dfw for 15 years, not great at all. A flat concrete jungle of unbearable heat and people.

Still amazing compared to Oklahoma though.
