Dallas-FW does have a lot of cool stuff to do though. I agree about the concrete and heat though. Summers are brutal and winters are miserably erratic. San Antonio is my favorite big city in Texas.

I personally love the desert but hate the plains with no trees. At least Illinois has plains with trees.

I really like Austin but it is becoming a mini LA.

Dust I grew up in Pampa Texas. Right in the middle of the panhandle on the plains. I know what you mean. I do miss the big sky though. A friend if mine from there is fond of saying that when it was late on the 6th day. God got tired and said, Lets just throw some grass on it. I'm pooped.

palo duro canyon and big bend is all west texas is good for, but those are both really cool offerings.

Palo Duro canyon is one of my favorite places, there you are crossing the flat featureless plains for hundreds of miles, and all of a sudden this big beautiful colorful canyon. Grew up riding horses there and fishing in lake McClellan not far away. Big Bend National Park is awesome too. We went down there a couple of times.

The Grand Canyon of Texas. Actually back when they were in the process of voting on names for national parks as well as voting on which parks would be national parks, Palo Duro was up against The Grand Canyon for the name...the Grand Canyon. I think we know who won. :)

Notice I said Okie city area..not OKC itself...Moore is a OKC suburb...I never want to be that close to a F5 again, once was enough for me. But one of these days downtown OKC is going to get it I believe.

And I hope Velus ends up at USC if not here. That would have to be a massively mindwarping change of pace wouldn't it? Alabama to LaLa land. It is almost funny thinking about this little hick kid out there. That place will eat him alive.

Nah. Catbone has been slacking in his negativity lately so someone has to step up. Just ignore me like many other do. You will be ok. Its my process of dealing with recruiting.
