'16 AL WR Velus Jones (Transfer)

I don't know why things didn't work out with Tee the last time we had an opening nor do I give two squirts what he did or didn't say about Hurd. If the man joins this program, I'll be ecstatic. If Amari and Jones join him, even better. Guy can recruit his butt off, and I'm certain he's an upgrade as a coach.

He also threw what should have been a TD to seal the game to Ellis against OU.

Edit: Among all the talk about our coaches losing the UF and OU games, this play and Medley's missed FG are the most often forgotten plays of the season. If our guys execute on those two plays, we're up an extra 10 points and OU doesn't have time for the comeback.

Forgot that one. Good get.

Not sure if you are serious. Hurd is a VERY physical back. Except for maybe Derrick Henry I think he is the most physical in the SEC.

His first reaction seems to be bounce it outside. Rarely puts his foot in the ground and cuts straight up. And Fournette says hi.

Every single game a player got injured trying to tackle Hurd. Kid ain't soft. Heck in starting to think he wears a green shirt now to limit our own team injuries

His first two steps coming across constitutes momentum. Otherwise he has to stop and change direction. You can't argue the laws of physics.

Is Hurd egotistical? Yes. Is he a primadona? Yes. Is he soft? Take a straw poll of linebackers, corners and safeties across the sec.

Are we just to gloss over the fact that a known insider flat out said Jalen Hurd is egotistical and a pre-maddona?

Hmmmm... guess we'll agree to disagree on this one. Fournette is a very physical back as well.

I don't think he's soft by any means. My personal opinion, and that's all it is, is he doesn't use his size to his advantage enough. There's no way to measure or quantify it either way, it's just eyeballing it. Maybe I need to move my seats down from the upper deck for a better view lol. I'm sure the Tennessee Fund would recommend that.

Lol... perspective may well be different from X1 where my seats are.
