Wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni will be touching base with a number of wide receiver prospects over the next few days, most noticeably Velus Jones and Marquez Callaway tomorrow.
As we mentioned earlier this week, Tennessee continues to be a a factor for Jones after he nearly committed to Oklahoma this summer. He's visiting Southern Cal this weekend and will decide on whether or not to visit Georgia or Mississippi State the next weekend for his last visit.
At wide receiver, we've mentioned several times this week that the Vols remain a large factor for Velus Jones. While several around him have hinted it's unlikely he ends up at Southern Cal, he still plans on taking an official visit there this weekend. Oklahoma and Tennessee are both considered the main contenders and it's interesting in talking to several in the coaching world this week both feel pretty good about where they are with the Alabama standout.
Will probably know more with his comments off the USC official visit. This kid is going to be a condom.
Interesting adjective there...
...that's a noun.
The "kid" is the noun in this sentence and a 'condom' is the adjective used to describe what type of "kid" he is, or in this case, going to be if he signs with USC.
Seems to me it would be a noun. Because the "kid" is going to "be" a Trojan. Trojan is a noun as is condom or fireman or Doctor.
"Condom" is not an adjective. Happy, blue, short, fat, etc are adjectives.
Just my take. Could be wrong.
