Absolutely. Would be huge to have him for 2020So he would be a regular transfer or a grad transfer? Either way looking like a '20 eligible guy? I like that, we will definitely have a need for some experience at WR next year and with two to play...Anyone know who the other schools in consideration are?
Couldn’t he just get a waiver saying that he wants to be closer to home (he’s from AL) and the fact that USCs coaching staff looks different basically everywhere?? OCs changed (twice) not to mention his recruiter and position coach is gone. If Tate Martell gets eligibility anyone should be able toSo he would sit this year and then have 2 years to play?
-VQFinally, the Vols will host an intriguing transfer this weekend, as USC wideout Velus Jones will take an unofficial visit. The Alabama native was recruited to USC by Martin and two have maintained a close relationship. Jones has two years of eligibility remaining. He wasn’t overly productive with the Trojans, but he’s a speedy slot receiver and a KO return specialist, potentially filling two needs for the Vols in the 2020 class.
seems like Jones is being looked at more as a specialist on ST for now...then as a slot WR. dunno what's going to happen with Gibbs. could go either way listening to the coaches....chaney wants him on O, Ansley wants him on D. if it goes to a cage match, i might take Chaney just cause...ya know...size matters.I’m wondering if Deangelo Gibbs will have anything to do with getting this guy. If Deangelo stays at wr do we pass? Or if he moves to DB to we try to lock him up?
