Does not surprise me. I know some have said that we didn't push hard for him when Butch brought him in, but I find it hard to believe that we paid for his trip here without it being serious. I have said before this year that I would not blame Butch one bit if he didn't want Tee or Jay Graham back at UT while he was there. Tee was a great player for us, but he hasn't been itching to come back as a coach and used our interview for a raise that he got before stepping off the plane back in Cali. I also think it would be difficult to bring back a coach who was caught demeaning one of your first prized recruits while he is still playing for you. UT fans need to get over Tee for now.

Lol. Same tired examples brought up time and time again.

The statistics back up the star system every time. Higher rated guys are "more likely" to find success, lower rates guys are "less likely" to find success.

That's all it is. No more, no less.

Why is it soooo hard for some of you?




Not that that's what's going on here. Velus Jones is a very good player.

I wonder if he recommits to USC now that Helton has the gig and Tee is more than likely staying? Or I wonder if the distance factor is coming into play? Hope we can snag him.

The disconnect is that there is no middle ground with so many here on Volnation. It's usually "only a 3 star, must suck". Too many speak definitively about it, like it's a fact that all 5 stars are great, all 4 stars are pretty good and all 3 stars or below suck. It usually isn't as black and white as people make it out to be.
