Yes
It is only a test. No one will live or die by one of your answers.
Go out to eat and watch a good movie the night before. Studying that last night is counterproductive and will only raise doubt as well as undermine your confidence.
Practice test question time. I learned to answer each question in 45 seconds or less. It took away my chances to second guess myself.
Unless a later question gives you the correct answer, do NOT shift from your first impression/answer.
Trust yourself.
You will be a doctor soon. Learn to trust your first impressions and instincts as they are usually correct. When you stress out over the question you become your own worst enemy.
You are a VFL! We make the best docs! Because the qualities that best serve a doctor are the essence of the Volunteer spirit. (The last is just to pump you up, even if it is totally true)
This test is your beatch.
How's that?
The real test is when you are the only person available at 3AM when the patient is dying and you have no backup. That is the true test. Second day as an intern, 1st call night. Yeah buddy, I crapped a diamond, but saved the patient. Cannot believe that was almost 24 years ago. Smh
