It is possible to be female and love sports. I grew up watching with my dad, and now my husband and I don't miss a game. Our 3 year old daughter loves to sing Rocky Top.

This is inaccurate. He doesnt count towards the 85 until hes actually on scholarship. Which isn't what a bluebshirt is. Its a promise.

You're right. And they could ask someone to pay for their fall semester and play with the team. My understanding with Perry and Bruce, they would get their schollie once fall classes started.

I don't believe the joke was intended to say you can't be a female and a sports fan, but that, based on your username, Kristy, it is obvious you're a female. Leb was not, so a gender change was necessary in order for you to be the same person, which you kind of are...

The way I think of a Blueshirt, is that it is a Walk-On whose put on scholarship during his 1st academic year on campus, and with that scholarship being given, it has to be reflected upon the next incoming class.

RPP and others? Is that the right wording for it?

A blueshirt doesn't "walk-on". They enroll before Fall and go on scholarship when Fall starts.
