'16 FL CB Tyler Byrd (UT Commit 2/2/16)

If Byrd flips to Tennessee I think it's safe to say Naples HS is Tennessee terroritory. Whether that dick of a head coach likes it or not

Quite the opposite most likely. It will be a battle to get anyone else from there. Coaches have a huge influence plus if he blocks our coaches from visiting it only gets harder.

They will definitely have to mend some fences after this is all over.

Mjackson6 alledges that he 'trains' Crowder, Foreman, and Swafford. If true, shouldn't be too hard to figure out who this is and someone can send him a flaming bag of poo.

Take it to the FF. Someone probably knows off the top of their head and we've seem what happens to people when the full wrath of VN comes down on someone.

Miami fans are really setting themselves up for a lot of heartache by acting like Tennessee isn't a factor and we have no chance with their guys.

GA positions will fix that, IMO.

Most desperate move I've seen if true.

Saint Richt has pulled the same moves at uga in the past as well. Demarre Kitt off the top of my head was cut from uga after being committed there.

To us recruiting junkies its weak sauce but for UM it's ammunition to sell parents IF Hart was really pushed out.

I don't care either way. Just thought I would share.

Hart was offerred a Blue Shirt so he could have been at UT, on scholarship, shortly after fall camp started. Hart wanted to be shown the love and being at UT on scholarship wasn't enough apparently.

So, if a kid picks a school he wants to go to and his high school coach does not like his decision it is going to cause problems for UT? Sounds like a great opportunity for a national media person to investigate the coach and why he does not respect a players decision. Not to say that things in South Florida have ever been shady before.

It's weird because they go to the same school and this coach is more than fine with sending CFA to play here...and yet, when Byrd starts showing interest, suddenly the Tim Hart situation becomes an issue. It's a load of bull**** and if true, this coach is a piece of trash too.

Don't really care what the coach has to say.
If he cares about Byrd, he would want him to explore all his options and determine the best fit for him, rather than trying to direct him to the school of the coaches choosing.

That said, I hope Byrd visits, if he does I don't know how you choose against knoxville and the smokey mountains.
He is a Naples kid, Naples is a very family oriented city with small town charm, I live in Miami. Its a trashy city.

Most of us can't "see" instincts and NFL talent from high school highlight film. We got PEOPLE for that. :wink2:

Seriously. Lol at the guys on here who try to sell the superior NFL talent and instincts of a high school freshman over a future NFL player who's shown his abilities vs SEC competition.....based on the freshman's highschool film. I seriously doubt, can all but guarantee that nobody we're bringing in this cycle is gonna start day 1 over Sutton at one CB, Martin at another CB and Gaulden at Nickle unless he moves to safety. Ain't happening IMHO.

I agree with what you're saying, but if we bring in Byrd, Warrior, and Osborne, then I wouldn't be surprised to see one of them work their way onto the field somewhere. Especially since Byrd seems to be so versatile to begin with. If he can learn the system, he seems like the type of guy we could potentially plug and play anywhere there's a hole in the secondary.

Plus, you never know what will happen between now and football season with injuries, transfers, suspensions, etc. One bad decision by a one of our starters in the secondary and it's next man up.

Byrd will beat out Gaulden as easily as Martin beat out Moseley.

Some guys are simply more talented than what we already. Byrd is one of those guys.

Except that Martin didn't start right away. With bryd and warrior being added it will be the best db class in the nation IMO but I'm still not betting on a true freshman starting right away. We're getting to the point where we don't have to start freshmen right away.
