'16 FL CB Tyler Byrd (UT Commit 2/2/16)

I just watch ALOT of football so it's easy for me to see guys who are special and out of the norm.

Byrd is one of those guys. He's one of those guys that stand out.

Only other guy we've been recruiting I've felt this good about is Mecole Hardman.

It's not about being afraid to state your opinion, it's beating other fans over the head with faux expertise and declaring opinions as facts. The martyr act has played out. Even when you have a salient point, most here disregard it because of the other silly garbage. Just in case you're having a cognizant moment. :hi:

I don't know how anyone can consider Raashan "injury-prone," when he's been here two years and injured once. That just doesn't strike me as "Oh, this guy just can't stay healthy, blah, blah, blah"

This. There are lots of times I agree with D4H's initial point, but by the time I finish reading the post his self certainty and arrogance has bummed me out so much I forget what he's even talking about.

Gaulden is as talented as any DB on the team. Why are you all entertaining that dude. Byrd will probably be on STs his first year. We don't need ANY help at CB. The Sutton-Martin tandem could be special. Abernathy and Foreman will be very good this year. Moseley may do good being taught by Shoop(I don't even know about him myself lol). Byrd coming in starting year 1 means he's just ridiculous. He's better than Sutton and Martin if he forces them to bench Gaulden, Abernathy, and Foreman for him. Year 2 would be the year I'd expect Byrd to start and really ball out. Also there's another talented freshman in Osbourne who's very good already enrolled. You all entertain a dude who thinks the whole team is going first round. 😂😂😂😂😂

I've watched enough football to know I wouldn't trade Warrior and Brown for Hardman.

Maybe by football he meant soccer? Gooooaaaaaallllll!

Also said he would trade Warrior and Brown for Mecole... Hell Callaway prolly is just as good with the ball in his hands.

Anyways, this kid is legit, but expecting him to start over the talent we have at corner is crazy... Now WR on the other hand.....

Hopped on here thinking something crazy happened. 5 pages behind in one day at 50 ppg.

Two CB's for the good guys, info from HG, and 4.5 pages of a troll-infused tangent.

I wouldn't either but it isn't too far fetched. Have you seen hardman's senior highlights? Guy is an absolute beast and would dominate the SEC as a slot receiver

His HC is working with UM to keep TB from visiting. According to one of UM few insiders, staff is working the Tim Hart angle. Supposedly HC reached out to Hart's HC to get his side of everything. TFWIW if he doesn't visit this was probably the reason.

Stay classy Kramer

Exactly.

And it's not like I said Hardman was better than Brown and Warrior combined.

I just felt slot receiver was such a big weakness on this team and Hardman so good that he could be the missing link that makes us a national title contender in 2016. Since it looks like Butch is going all in to win the natty in 2016.

You never bothered me till this. It was a great ride man.

I sincerely hope that people on Volnation are correct in saying recruits don't read these threads, otherwise Mr. Byrd is going to be more than a little concerned

or at least I hope he has a great sense of humor!

Well, we haven't had anyone come in here screaming about "HE HASN'T FLIPPED YET?!?!?!?! DO NOT WANT!!!!!"

So at least there's a silver lining in this thread so far.

OF COURSE kids read these threads about themselves. And so would you. I remember having 2 doubles in a HS baseball game and waking up the next morning to see if my name was in the local paper. We all want to read about ourselves.

Doesn't mean it's how they make their decision, but they read stuff like this.

I agree with you. i expect that they would. This silly season stuff in some of these threads can be a little scary.
