'16 FL CB Tyler Byrd (UT Commit 2/2/16)

Or...he's teaching these kids a life lesson about commitment, loyalty and actually thinking things through before making rash decisions. How dare he be an educator in his position.

We don't know what this coach is motivated by. He may be a Miami guy who tries to steer all of his kids to Miami. Or, he may be what you said - trying to teach a lesson about commitment. In the end, if Byrd feels like that Tennessee is the best place for him, his coach should respect and support his decision, even if he does not support how he went about the process.

Edit: I got GBKYVol - ed

Good grief, Miami boards are worse than ours:

Miami boards said:
He's creating a little drama for signing day.

This is the story I heard: He's going to show up to his signing ceremony with half his mustache covered by masking tape. The other uncovered half will be a nice non-denominational orange color. The crowd will be on the edge of their seats wondering if the taped off half will be checkerboard or green when he pulls the tape off.

Not only will the other side be green but he'll also have a little part shaved separating the two halves.

The original post dude responded to included me saying IF his motivation was for that purpose I can respect it. Not making a determination one way or the other as i don't pretend to know him. If he's old school like someone posted, i can get behind a coach not wanting his HS players to commit and then play other teams along. But again, depends on the motivation...

I originally thought he'd flip. Now not so sure....

Lol, based on what?

Based on the fact that JohnD13 has done this in pretty much every single thread of our remaining targets.

From Brown, Dickerson and Kongbo threads....

After reading that you guys are a lot more optimistic than I am right now..

IMHO as soon as Kongbo decomitted he was not a viable recruit. Think Jones is wasting his time but hopefully he pulls a rabbit out of his hat.

You guys really think Kongbo is in play? I just don't see how....

I hope I'm wrong about his decision but to me it looks worse for us every day that goes by

Not looking good...

I don't think Butch would be that dumb to not be there when he begins visit lol
Our coaches fly on a charter jet.No airport lines or security checks, baggage claims ect. They could leave AZ Andy probably be back in Knoxville in 3 to 4 hrs.Plenty of time.

I'm sure CLS will be there to greet them off the plane.

This. There is plenty of time for Butch and G to get back. There are a lot of things to keep kids preoccupied on officials. They do a bunch of touring etc. I'm sure Welton is in the house too and people really underestimate how good he is with people
