'16 FL CB Tyler Byrd (UT Commit 2/2/16)

If this 20 year old kid is basing his decision off his 16 year old girlfriend, I have to really question his decision making.

Fortenberry said last night he thought it was about right when a poster asked if he was >75% confident Byrd would choose Tennessee. Everybody chill.

I believe these radio guys like to think they are on the "inside" as much as some of our volnation members.

Ill wait for the announcement

I understand that these recruits might love their girlfriend but he has to do what's best for him and not to please her. That wouldn't be fair to Byrd cause everyone is their own person.

Exactly. Love is great...but you have to do what you have to do for you, not her and if you are really THAT in love, you will make it work even if you are Tennessee instead of Miami.

I got married at 18. We were married for 12 years. In hindsight it may have been a bad idea, but I would do it all again. I have two beautiful children. Young love is real to some people. If Byrd is one of those people, then I admire him for it.

I think it will only get worse if Butch doesn't beat FL and GA and Bama more frequently. Right now he is all talk and little results.

This will be the first year that we got the same talent as bama when we hit the field this coming year, before it's in i know the Florida and Oklahoma game we gave away, but this team 120 will be remembered for the no excuse team, because we don't have no excuse this year for not beating both of them it's put up or shut up.

Kudos my friend.
This means you are one of the extremely few lucky ones!
Nearly everyone I know who got married at that age is divorced or should be.

Your condition is rare and enviable!

One little clue I've picked up on is we've seen no cryptic tweets from our coaches. Usually we'll get a "It's gonna be a great day on Rocky top" or something like that.

Young love is great, no one is saying it isn't...but its stupid to stay in Miami for her and the convenience if Tennessee is best for him. You can make it work.

I'm 19 now and my girlfriend of 3 years talks about marriage all the time and I brush it off. No one should he prioritizing a woman at that age. No offense to you, but you can't blame me with the family horror story that I posted about it

If that is the case, then he might want to get out of the Sunshine State, because that is a seriously prosecuted offense in Florida. I kid you not.

Man some of y'all give up quick.

Absolutely nothing has changed in the past 30 minutes. Reading this thread one would get the impression that Dooley is our coach.

Now, let's take this roller coaster back to the top.

GFW says Vol...... He's a Vol
