'16 FL DE Jordan Woods (Georgia Tech commit)

Care to elaborate?

I know Kongbo is a long shot at this point, but my understanding is we're still pursuing.

Kongbo isn't committed anywhere. Neither is Woods. Makes perfect sense that UT is recruiting both. If one commits, possibly the pursuit of the other stops.

I'm trying to remember the timeline on everything. I believe we lost Okonya, which was hinted we let go because we didn't like his Senior year film and then shortly after also lost Kongbo.

I believe Woods is to fill the void at DE and getting Kongbo back would be an unexpected bonus. Ultimately I think Bituli slides down to DE and he and Woods are our defensive ends for the class.

Bearring the caveat none of us know anything, I feel Scott was tasked with wrapping up Woods to in a way "replace" the loss of Kongbo, the DE slot that we have left to fill.

Would we take both? I'm sure we would but something tells me that even though we are still pursuing the Kong that Woods was seen as a great get in his stead.

That's all I've got, insiders take it away!

Bartow with the Tennessee prediction on 247.

Which is funny, because the cb predictions has Miami, Florida, then Tn, but has Tn "Warmer", GT, "Warm", and everyone else "cool"
