Florida sent their entire coaching staff just to get him to visit, and he still said no. He cancelled his Florida visit yesterday, and is All Vol
"I'm still a Vol, the Tennessee offensive tackle commitment told SEC Country via text message shortly after being visited by five Florida coaches on Thursday, the first day recruiters were allowed to visit prospects since the beginning of the dead period in December.
Offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier, offensive line coach Mike Summers, receivers coach Kerry Dixon, defensive line coach Chris Rumph and linebackers coach Randy Shannon all dropped in to see Tatum at Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Fla."
Floridas visit had one primary goal, to convince Tatum to take an official visit before National Signing Day on Feb. 3. That could happen.
Not sure yet, Tatum said when asked if he would take any official visits.
Several Florida sites had stated Tatum had decided to visit Florida this weekend, and he was set to Official this weekend, and then he cancelled yesterday afternoon saying he didn't want to jeopardize his Tennessee commitment by going to have fun at Florida.
Essentially he said, thanks for the chances at a nice hotel, great food, girls, and fun, but I'd prefer to sit at home and watch Netflix and not cause any issues with us, screw you Florida
Probably better than DBs tackling each other.
Gif or it didn't happen.![]()
