Seems like another swing and a miss for the good guys. We are definitely behind in the count for stud WRs.
This was predicted by many based the performance of our passing game this season (not saying me)....Swain in particular said it....top WRs are gonna look elsewhere if we can't develop a dynamic passing game. We're about as far away from WRU as you can get right now.
I think our passing game will break our next year with the improvement that should come in our o line
I like Dobbs. But he's the biggest problem right now. The OL was more than good enough this year. But even when Dobbs throws catchable balls... they are off target much of the time. If he doesn't somehow develop the ability to anticipate and throw the ball where it needs to be thrown for the receiver to make a play AND can't get more accurate "in the strike zone" on shorter throws... he's reached his ceiling as a passer.
WRs have to become playmakers. They must make contested catches. QBs will have to throw in coverage at times and they've got to look to make plays.
