When asked if we passed on Victor: "I think there are other receivers they like better including callaway."

Maybe. I've lived in Florida for 31 years. Never seen anyone love this state more than you.

When it's been your family's home for 170 years it's kind of hard to not be proud of where you're from. I hate the coasts, other than utilizing the beaches. I'm an inland kinda guy. Where are you at?

I hear ya man. I'm in Sarasota. I've lived in the country too. When I grew up in north port, we were the only house on the street. I love Sarasota man. Like a miniature San Diego. Little bit of everything here. Also lived I. Wesley Chapel. Beautiful oak trees and land. I love heading to Myakka State park on Sunday. The family and I appreciate it as Old Florida before the Yanks got here. I love vacationing in St Augustine and take the wife there for Vaentines Day.

Most the big cities are fun but not to live in. I like friendly neighbors and quick rides to remote areas.

Love much of Florida and the heat. Love mountains and east TN. Don't love this infernal cold and snow in the mountains.

I am much happier with MC as a Vol. Besides, BV spells his first name wrong. lol.

I remember when North Port grew enough that North Port HS became a good size school. I had never even heard of North Port before that. I grew up off Lake Okeechobee. My dad's side of the family was living in Belle Glade before it was Belle Glade. My great-great uncle was in the council meeting the night they got together to incorporate it and needed a name. He was 13 yrs old and suggested either the Belle or Glade part of it and that night Belle Glade was named and incorporated. Now anyone with any means wouldn't dare live in Belle Glade.

I wouldn't be surprised if Debord goes out with Dobbs and Hurd. I actually think they are why he was hired. To take full advantage of those two while they are here together and Oline woes lurking. I'd imagine with Preston, Malone, JJ, Smith, Higgins,Calloway etc in 17 and Guarantano stepping in with a veteran line and new RBs that aren't the beast Hurd is, we will open it up a bit. JGs got a cannon and arsenal of WRs. Kinda Mariota Oregon on O with the 85 Bears defense is how I see 17 season basically.

Great story BG. Your last sentence is the truth. We always know we're in Belle Glade when we see the prison.

Crazy to think how close it is to West Palm and all that $$$$.

But you're not setting the bar too high or anything...

It is truly amazing that in 30 miles there can be that drastic of a difference. It's sort of ironic that the town slogan is "her soil, is her fortune". That soil has made a lot of sugarcane and a lot people wealthy, just not in Belle Glade. Except the rabbit chasers, of course.

Good FL talk Out. As they call for 3-10 inches of snow in the mid-South tonight/tomorrow, I might actually welcome Belle Glade for a night.
