And if you still think recruits and their parents are not impacted in any way (negative or positive) by social media (including message boards) then you are either blind or refuse to recognize what has been repeatedly stated by many. But you're right, I guess that's why negative recruiting (much like negative political attacks against ones opponent) never work. And yet it makes me wonder why so much money is spent on negative ads... hmmm? :thud:

Crystal balls are all going to Florida though.

Why would he commit somewhere and visit somewhere else?

Happens quite often. He will probably commit to UF on Friday and cancel upcoming visits.

Yep. The reason why he isn't coming here is all our fault on a message board. It has nothing to do with whats being produced on the field. I can hear it now:

Swains dad: son I have been on Volnation reading about you and there have been a couple of posters saying some things about you
Swain: what are they saying dad?
Swains dad: well one guy said that you probably wont get thrown to very much. And honestly son after watching the Vols play, there might be something to that. But its your decision.
Swain: well dad I honestly feel like some people on a message board know way more than I do about playing WR. Also, I really dont know how to watch a game and make decisions for myself based on what I see. So dad after giving it some thought, I am just going to agree with the message board guys.
