Brown is more likely at this point. Daniels is Texas bound. I think we slow played Daniels on his visit because of having so much momentum with Brown.

I don't think that was the case, hard to slow play a guy on his first visit but if so that was not smart.

brown or daniels or both with Dickerson... we have last visit with brown and dickerson and i feel a richmond finish here....

I saw a few on there hinting as it was possible. Apparently they have 6WRs committed and still hoping for Richards. They think his visit to UT and Bruce deciding to stick may have Williams without a spot. Might suck if UT doesn't have room after they pushed him to visit.

I wouldn't mind having him if we were to somehow whiff on one of our targets.. However I hope we don't.

My uninformed guess is Williams ends up at Tennessee but has been asked not to go public for fear that other schools will tell kids we don't have spots for their commitment(s)

If we take williams we drop johnson imo. Too many wrs with whats left on our board. Then byrd warrior and brown hopefully. In the case that kongbo or duckerson wants in you figure it out.

Y'all really think we turned down Victor, may have snubbed Velus, all so we could take Latrell? And Richards is in the queue... I'm thinking there is no room at the inn for this WR.

yes bc victor is similiar in skill set to some other receivers we have. Latrell is a slot man with real speed. The coaches arent making their choice based on rankings. They are making their choices based on what they need. We need catch and run speed receivers. Thats why they wanted Henderson also.

I think this kid is underrated and could be good and all, but do we really need 5 WRs in this class? Especially since Byrd seems likely and we're trying to sell him on playing both ways apparently?

With George on campus, we're already 6 deep presumeably through 2017 (unless Malone or George pulls a Marquez North). Do we need to add 5 more bodies there?

I see no need for 5. Especially in a class of 20. I'd guess Butch would have to miss on 5-6 guys on NSD to take Williams. Very unlikely.

If a player takes an official visit to a school he can't blueshirt at that school. Therefore, Williams blueshirting isn't even in the realm of possibility

I guess I wasn't looking at it that way. If he's a backup option in case we miss out on all the other guys we're after, I've got no problem with it I guess.

But if we bring 5 HS WRs into an already pretty deep (albeit from a bodies stand point moreso than a production standpoint), we're most likely going to be seeing 1-3 of those guys hitting the road pretty early. All of our WRs could return in 2017 and I can't see more than one or two jumping pro early potentially. There probably won't be a lot of snaps to be had for most of the WRs we're bringin in until 2018.


Of course, now that I say that, watch our passing offense transform next season we lose 3 players to early graduation. That's what usually happens when I make predictions like this :eek:lol:
